If you plan to live, work, and teach in South Korea, you will be required to obtain an Apostille on an FBI Background check.  You’ll need to first contact an FBI Approved Channeler to help expedite the process of obtaining your background check and the authentication letter signed by the Section Chief.  Here is an example of the letter we need for you to send to our office.  Be sure to request this letter or they will not send it to you:

This authentication letter signed by the Section Chief of the Criminal Justice Information Services Division, will arrive by regular mail to your address.  If you attempt to make a copy, it will read void or unauthorized copy.  You will need to mail this letter with our order form and credit card authorization form.

Once we receive this letter, the turn-around time is 5-8 business days.  Domestic overnight shipping is included in our fee but we also provide international shipping to South Korea.  Additional international shipping rates apply.
