FBI Apostille Example

FBI ApostilleBelow is an example of an FBI Criminal History Record Authentication Letter (FBI Background check) issued by the FBI and signed by William G. McKinsey, Section Chief of the Biometric Services Section, Criminal Justice Information Services Division (CJIS).

In order to obtain an apostille on this document, you must first contact an FBI channeler and request this background check.  The FBI Channeler will provide you easy to follow step-by-step instructions.  Once you receive the background check, you can then forward this document to our Washington, D.C. office for processing.

Note: The FBI Channeler will either e-mail you your background check in a PDF format or will mail your background check to your home or office.  If you receive the letter by e-mail, you can simply forward it to us by email for processing.  Be sure to include the FBI Apostille order form and FBI Apostille credit card authorization form.  The email address is: support@apostilleFBI.com

If you receive your background check by regular mail, you will need to mail in this document to our Washington, D.C. office for processing.  Be sure to include the FBI Apostille order form and FBI Apostille credit card authorization form.

Below is an example of an FBI digital background check signed by William G. McKinsey.  These authentication letters will be emailed to you by the FBI Channeler including a unique password in order to view the PDF.

Below is an example of an FBI background check printed on special tamper resistant paper and physically mailed to your address (hard copy).  This document will need to me mailed-in to our Washington DC office for processing:

The example of the Apostille above will be attached to the FBI authentication letter (background check) by the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C.  The U.S. Department of State is the only government agency able to authenticate FBI background checks.
